Americano

Long black

The taste of long black is stronger than that of Americano. It is prepared by mixing two shots ristretto with a small amount of water and thus get a distinct taste.

Drip coffee

The preparation of drip coffee involves passing dripping boiling water over ground coffee. It is a slow coffee making process. However, in the end you will get stronger coffee.

Instant coffee

It is the most hassle free coffee making process. The instant coffee making process involves pouring the desired amount of hot water over the coffee ground or crystal and stir it until it dissolves. Instant coffee has longer shelf life than other types of coffees. The popularity of instant coffee varies from  culture to culture. Over 70% of Britons for example, love instant coffee. However, the popularity of instant coffee drops to 7% in case of Americans and mere 1% among french.

Immersion coffee

Immersion coffee is prepared by dipping the coffee grounds into the boiling water and let the grounds steep for some time and thus makes the taste stronger. French press coffee is one example of immersion coffee. The coffee is made from soaking the coarsely ground beans in boiling water for at least five minutes.

Milk based coffee

Milk-based coffee contains lower concentration of caffeine and acidity. This type of mild coffee is ideal for drinking at the end of a  working day like in evening hours. Similar to black, milk based also come with several different types. Let us discuss these types now

Flat White

Flat white is one type of espresso that contains a small amount of steamed milk. However, such little milk does not alter strong flavor espresso in flat white coffee. Rather, the milk enhances the taste of coffee further.

Cappuccino

This type of coffee is a mixture of espresso and milk. The recipe of Cappuccino includes two types of milk. These are foamed milk and steamed milk.

Latte

Unlike flat white type which contains a small amount of milk, the latte type contains a lot of milk. This is why latte offers a distinctive milkiest aroma.

Mocha

This type is one variation of cafè latte. The recipe of mocha includes ingredients like cocoa powder, foamed milk, and chocolate syrup. If you want, you can add some cinnamon, whipped cream, or other toppings also. Mocha is ideal for beginner coffee drinkers.
